If you haven't seen Salon's 2005 pick for "finest viral video," you've got to check this out. You need a good connection and sound. If you don't have access to Salon Premium, watch the ad for a free one day pass (do stuff in another window while the car ad runs through). It's worth it.

I guess it's just me, but I'm not entirely sure what's so extraordinary about this video. A white guy who can dance? It's entertaining enough, but am I missing something?

I don't think you're missing anything in particular. For me, it's just the simplicity of it that somehow works in a surprising way.
