When anything's framed as a competition, it somehow feels all the more compelling. So despite the differences in the ad budgets and number of screens, it would be pretty awesome if Brokeback beats Lion,Witch,Wardrobe this week-end. It makes a man feel like he should be having a movie marathon. (I still need to see Rent despite tepid reviews...)
