Bolton Pains

OUCH! Back to following world events and it hurts. Maybe it's a boon that my parents' basic cable subscription excludes all the 24-hour news channels.

Here's the latest from the Guardian on Bolton disrupting the UN. I hate it when the left's painful predictions come true. I didn't even stumble across this on Salon or NYTimes today, but rather, it's being discussed on plastic. Here is the discussion thread...

back in the u.s.

Sorry about being off for so long. I didn't have much chance to blog while in France for the month after Geneva. I guess when you're not in front of a computer all day, you don't write as frequently. But of course, being away from the screen can be a very good thing.

Regarding spam comments, I've turned on word verification for commenting which means that blogger asks you to verify that you are not a spam robot before posting. Thanks for all the comments though -- it's fun to know that people are reading.

I'm in CT until Friday before a week in SF before starting back up for school. I'll try to get back into a more regular posting mode and some pictures up as well in the meantime.
